Last week of work

This is my last week at my job. It came really fast and it is weird that it is actually happening. With everything that comes to an end, you start to appreciate it more. This job drove me crazy, brought me to tears, gave me a teeth clentching problem but it also brought me two AMAZING girls that I really think I will call friends for the rest of my life. It also was like a "crash course" in everything you will ever need to know about event management. Literally, I learned and experienced more events and more problems than most event manager's do in a few years. Problem solving abilities as of now? Stellar.

They threw me a little going away brunch yesterday complete with mimosas! Now, looking back, I do appreciate all the things I have gained from this job, but don't get me wrong! I will most definitely NOT miss working over-nighters, being a glorified babysitter of adult babies, trying to keep feeder fish alive inside a bar front during a party or figuring out how to tie 200 chair ties in 10 minutes. Those things, I can do without but hey, they are good stories.

On to the next adventure we go! This is just a reminder about how soon I will be leaving. I am getting really excited and nervous but still really sad about leaving everyone. It is like a band-aid. I just need to rip it off real quick so it hurts less. For now, I am going to finish out the week and celebrate the best holiday of the year with all my friends and family and I CAN'T WAIT!! YAY!
